What's it cost to get a simple will drawn up?

Not married or anything. Just want to make sure my stuff goes to the right people and that they don't do something stupid like bury me in a pine box.

If you don't have much, you can buy will writing software for as cheap as $14.99 (possibly less if there is a hot deal on it - people here are so good at finding those). That will be legal and valid (pun intended) without needing a lawyer. But if you want you can bring the software result to a lawyer to check over - much cheaper than paying a lawyer to do it all.

Would it really matter to you if you got buried in a pine box? I certainly don't want my family wasting money on my funeral.

Yes it would piss me off. It's not the pine part, it's the burial. Donate the parts that can help people, burn the rest up and dump it in the pacific.
