PrinceofWands, don't you think thats a really bad idea to keep your SS card and voter registration card in your wallet? If someone gets that with all of that other information, your identity is GONE!

I carry a gun, and am generally not an agreeable guy. If someone has my wallet then I'm probably dead so I won't care. 😎

Beyond that, there's little they could do that would bother me. I'd be far more upset about the loss of the pictures and the newspaper clipplings. I don't keep money in my bank accounts and my credit cards have pretty low limits (with some protection). I have no interest in credit ratings. I mean really, there's just not much that would bother me.

:Q So much cash! Are you a drug dealer?

That's actually not a lot for me. I seldom have less than $200. I use cash for 95% of my transactions. I don't ever use banks. When I build up too much cash it goes into various other more secure locations (safe, lockbox, etc).

No, it is his purse, see he even has change in it. 😀

😎

My wallet has a zipper pocket for coins. *shrug* It's a mickey mouse club wallet I got in Disneyland last year.

A drug dealer with a mickey mouse club wallet? :Q

Because if you don't have control over your money it can be controlled by others. The government can freeze it, it can be taken thru id theft, or people can take it through legal actions (even when not entitled to it). With your money in the bank you aren't in control of it. Trust me, I learned this very costly lesson the hard way, as did my father.

By using only cash I retain control over it, or at least I can attempt to prevent unauthorized access to it. At a bank I'm helpless.
