okay, my turn now.

a)WRX, previous one all the way.
b)Current Camaro. the previous boxy ones are way better. as for the current ones, it is suprising how much a bit lowering and a little body kit can enhance the look tremendously.
c)SC430, it gradually looks better for some reason.
d)THUNDERBIRD! that thing IS UGLY To the maximum. and in my book it is not a sports car.
e) BMW Z8
f) Lotus Espirit maybe this is a bad pic, but man this car looks old school.

the new ford gt

i dont like all the boxlike, holes for airflow its got on its hood

most cars from teh 80's i dont consider performance cars, as almost all domestic cars were tuned down, due to the oil crisis and crap like that

i like the wrx not mamazing, but sweet

not a performance car, but the new mercedes-benz brick, the ml500(right?) is about as ugly as the girls who show up on jerry springer

Blasphemy!!! 80's Corvette's looks absolutely beautiful.

I'll st@b who ever said it?s ugly.

The new viper might be a bit different, but It?ll grows on you. Go to dieselstation.com and check out the viper pics. It looks sweet (not as good looking as the GTS, but still good IMO).

The new Murcielago is beautiful. I think it basically looks like an Audi supercar (which makes sense considerng the new ownership).

I would have to say that the Enzo is ugly as hell. And the one thing saving the Diablo is the 300zx headlights :). Porsches are getting uglier and uglier. The new headlight design is cheesy. The Boxter gets the good lights.

They have been using the same design for 15 years now. Anyway they barely produce any of those now and sell mainly elise's.

It is not for airflow, it is just a black piece of plastic.

My vote goes to the Cardi Curara.

YOU SIR ARE A TOOL!
Your point has got to be the dumbest one I have ever heard proposed.
The notion that, an engine, brakes, and suspension make the actual APPEARANCE of a vehicle better is simply psychotic.

I mean, there isn't even any room for argument on this one.

Are you saying that if I strapped cardboard with polka-dots on a dune buggy then put a, let say Porshe twin turbo engine in it, outfitted it with a Lotus' handling abilities, and BMW's braking, it would be a beautiful vehicle?

Absolutely retarded.

As for mypick for fugliest performance car, without a doubt, the Ferari Enzo, I like the mechanics of the car, and the performance is nothing to sneeze at, but how the h3ll you go from a F50 to THAT monstrous creation is beyond me, F1 cars are great for the track, because on the track functionality rules, but taking those cues (especially the half-@ssed method they used where it looks like some hack just welded one of their F1's to an F40 read-end) and using them in the way Ferari did....blech.

And to think people complain about the new 7-series back end, which oddly enough smacks heavily of a current Volvo (and certainly isn't the hideous creation these sensationalist losers make it out to be). Bah, whatever, can't believe I wasted as much time as I have on this thread.

I dunno. race cars. I have seen them on TV like at Laguna Seca style.

I think they look terrible
but arguably functional.

Hey now.. I've got an '02 TA and really like it - I don't think they are bad looking. Now, the Camaro, on the other hand, looks like a long Saturn, IMHO.

ooooh, someones looking for a butt-kicking! :)
No but seriously, I grew up working on Camaros with my dad (oh baby some hella fast 450+HP engines, built by hand, memories from my childhood, ehehe) so I am sure I am biased, but the TA's are hella sexy too, my brother in law has one, lovely car, still wouldn't take his WS6 over an SS though :)

Which reminds me, saw a twin-turbo BLACK (ohhhhhhh) SS on my way home from work today....oh my GOD I love how the LS1 sounds in those two cars (not bad in the vette, but the exhaust is deceptively quite, like in my friends new vette, sexy car, just doesnt have the sound the others do.

Maybe I got weird tastes...

But I do not think the WRX looks ugly, it maybe a bit exotic looking for a typical everyday-sedan, but it's got some nice looking rims and the speed to cover it up.

The Enzo, I love this thing! For a Formula1 fan, the Enzo to me is like a true incarnation of a street legal Ferrari F1, and I personally love the way F1 cars look. Its lights might not be the prettiest in the world, but those lines(except the roof) are just about perfect, can anything beat those scissor doors?

The Lambos don't look ugly to me, especially not the Mercielago.

Again, contrary to many people's opinion here, I think the BMW Z4 looks very bad, it lost the "cuteness" that Z3 had. The Z8 doesnt look very good either. But other Bimmers are good, especially the 3 sedans.

Not exactly a performance car, but the Lexus LS430 gets my vote for the ugliest luxury car in the world.

Maybe he heard the turbos spool up or the blow-off valve
