What's in ramen noodles that packs so much calories?

It's 400 calories just for one bag. 200 calories a bag seems more reasonable. Where are all the calories coming from? The noodles? The sauce packet?

just to add, the 'real' ramen, the non instant kind... is probably slightly more healthy, as the noodles are made fresh daily at good places. (mostly japan, taiwan...etc) avoid china, they use cardboard stock... lol i kid i kid...

you only think you are kidding... 😱 at least cardboard is high in fiber

course the badness mostly includes if you are stupid enough to drink all the soup...bad sodium intake. i'm sure plenty of the fats are in the soup as well, when it congeals you can see it

From what I remember the nooodles are made with palm oil, so that would be why.
