what's healthier, chicken or dal?

chicken v dal, I can't decide which to order from the Indian truck for lunch 🙁

both would be served over brown rice, with no additional condiments on either except hot sauce.

the chicken is grilled, but parts unknown (eg: it's not just white meat/breast... I'm assuming it's cheap cuts)
 
Neither, as both are probably smothered to hell in grease, butter, and seasonings.

The core ingredient plays probably nothing compared to the rest of the stuff you'll eat it with.
 
The question really should be do you want to eat meat or not.

Of course Loki eats meat. 😀

To me, it really does depend on preparation. If it's grilled chicken over brown rice as described, I would think that is healthier than the Dal which looks a bit heavy on the carbs. Are you working out?
