I liked the thread where Tyrgve skillfully owned Nik ("it can't possibly be your desk").

MacBaine's farewell to our forums made a very honest and heartwarming thread and who could forget the "My girlfriend won't stop breathing" or the "sonz70's 500$ adventures" topics. Unlike sonz70, Syringer did not deliver, so I didn't quite enjoy his spider-land escapades.

Preyhunter's fake YAGT was hilarious, I think about him every time I see a Halo 2 T-shirt.

I remember the 9/11 thread. Every news website was slammed hard and I had no TV since I was at work. ATOT was where I got my minute by minute updates.

The most memorable thread to me was one in the video forum in which a viral marketing agent for Nvidia(Rollo) exposed himself, first by pretending to be a free hardware beta tester, and later by admitting he was part of the AEG marketing group.

What made that thread so bittersweet was that Rollo had earlier tried to get me(and others) banned for accusing him of being part of that marketing group. Anandtech did the right thing and showed him the door after that. :thumbsup:
