What's happened to Archive.org?

Last week I was able to download from www.archive.org, but all this week I can't even connect to the main page. I've heard that my ISP (Road Runner) may be blocking this site. Can anyone out there connect to this site?

Any thoughts appreciated...
 
I use it to download live concerts from bands that approve of such stuff (mainly Grateful Dead shows). I get my p0rn on DVD...

I keep getting a "Cannot find server" error. I think RR in Detroit is blocking the site.
 
Thanks for the input. I still cannot access the site. It is being blocked by RR in Detroit. I've sent them complaint emails, but they do not respond. Looks like I'll be looking for a new ISP...
 
I'm on the phone right now...tech support had me flush the DNS servers, but I still cannot ping archive.org. The tech did mention an "internet war" between level3 and cogent...still not fixed...
 
RR claims the problem is archive.org. They take no responsibility for the problem.

I need to know the names of more sites that aren't accessable to use as examples.

The local RR tech just called me back and said they are aware of the problem, but they had a work-around in place to fix it. But apparantly the fix doesn't really work. They can't access the site either.

However, the national RR tech could access the site (although he is in Canada somewhere).
 
The local RR tech showed me a site to use to check for DNS problems. It is DNSreport.com

If I do a check on archive.org, it reports name server errors. The tech insists that that is the problem and archive.org has to fix it's name servers in order for me to connect.

I do not believe that, as other people can access the site. I give up...I guess I'll try it again tomorrow...
