there are a ton of premade marinades in the grocery store. I just had a good herb and garlic one the other night.

Marinate the chicken in cheap cream sherry wine. Then, before cooking, baste it with buttter, and sprinkle on garlic poweder (or real garlic), salt, fresh ground pepper, paprika.

I think cream sherry tastes terrible to drink, but when you cook with it, it adds a very subtle, warm flavor. :) :wine:

If you broil the chicken, do the same basting routine, and use one of those ridged foil broiling pans, and pour the wine in the bottom of the pan. When you turn the chicken, repeat the baste and spices. When it's done on both sides, pour off the juices in the bottom, and skim off all the liquid fat. What's left is a really great thin juice gravy.

A-1 Sauce works good too. I usually do this with chicken before putting it on the Foreman.

Ziplocks work better as you can squeeze all the air out so all of the meat is covered with marinade.
You really know how to suck the life out of a smartass response.

And you also don't have anything to clean up afterwards - just throw the messy bag in the trash.

Add bread crumbs to that and it'll really be good. :D

Hmm....never thought of that. I'm basically ripping off part of a recipe for a korean-style steak marinade.
