What's going on with my website.

I have a domain "www.something.net" When I go to the http, it is my site, but when I try to go to the ftp part of my site, it pulls up what appears to be someone elses ftp directory. What could the problem be. I believe it was working just a couple nights ago when I tried it from work.

When I go to the cpanel for my site I see none of the files that were in the directory that I am now pulling up. Anyone have this happen to them before??

somebody screw up your DNS, most likely be a cname issue.
open up a ticket with your webhost provider, they should be able to repair it.

I'm guessing it's has something to do with being on a shared server. If I use my username to log in it goes to my directory.

most webhosting servers are shared, and uses the "host" HTTP header for the webserver daemon to determine which of the virtual site to serve up.
