Some impressive looking food in this tread.I hate checking it out as it makes me raveonous.
Made what I call Taco Dip, but the recipe says Party Nachos. It's really a party type dish I guess, but I make it as dinner and it's really easy to make and super delicious! I leave out the avocados and sour cream. The trick to this stuff is to use a good tortilla chip. One that won't crumble when you scoop the dip. I use Mission tortilla rounds. Corn to be specific. I hold one chip in the left hand as the scoop and dish the dip to the chip in the right hand. LOL!

Recipe if you would like to try this deliciousness.

What's your French onion soup recipe? I've been wanting to make it for a while.
Tonight I had grilled pork tenderloin, roasted asparagus, and a box of Annie's mac and cheese. And a tomato. Now onto fruit and some 86% dark chocolate for dessert.
I thought poke was raw fish and not smoked? Anyway, I'm trying to understand this recent poke popularity. There's couple poke dedicated restaurants that opened recently near me. I've had poke from Costco and I don't recommend that. All you taste with Costco poke is massive amount of sesame oil. Sesame oil should be used sparingly as it can easily overpower any food and flavor. Poke just seems to be Hawaiian version of Japanese Chirashi bowl or Korean Hoe-deopbap. Nothing special. I eat Hoe-deopbap fairly often since I usually have fresh ahi tuna at my house. I had it for lunch yesterday. But I've cut back eating ahi tuna to about once every 10 days or so since I learned the dangers of Mercury poisoning.I got a poke bowl from aldi today, A little spendy, but it was really good. Has a pouch of rice you nuke, put that in a paper bowl, place the included smoked salmon on top, add sauce and dry seasoning. Thinking about going back tomorrow and getting a couple more.
