4 quarts of homemade chili with beans. Well sort of...used 2 jars of Tabasco brand chili sauce (medium), 5 cans of various beans, 1 pint of medium salsa, 1 can of tomato sauce, 1/4 onion and 2 pounds of hamburger. Yummy!!!

Ohh that sounds good.

I went with steak and steamed broccoli / carrots and a Mt. Dew Throwback (Yeah whatever :p). The crockpot is full of a chicken breast / mushroom / sour cream / white wine concoction courtesy of cooks.com :D

Honest:

Veal scallopini served with a rustic mushroom sauce, lemon accent and fresh herbs served on a bed of angel hair pasta.
Warm brie on a bed of spinach, with an apple accompaniment, in dressing of fine balsamic vinegarette with hints of anchovies and wine
Sauteed asparagus and hollandaise

She's working on it now and she's awesome.

There had better be some white gravy with that. Along with taters and green beans.

I changed my mind...

Pan fried pork chops with white gravy topped with deep fried mushrooms
Salad
Apple sauce
Buttered carrots

Something at a restaurant called "Strings". I think it's Italian.
My wife has a friend playing guitar there and I have to go listen. It's not like I worked all week and worked all day at home.
FML.

Good luck. Strings is perhaps the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to.

It's not that their food is BAD...it's more that it's just not GOOD...seemed very plain and bland to me.

My wife is making her "pasta bake" which is sort of like baked spaghetti...only the sauce is much thicker, the veggies cut into larger pieces...and the pasta is penne instead of skinny noodles. :p

She had 2 basic variations. One with Chicken, broccoli, and spinach in a cream sauce, the other uses ground beef with bell peppers, onions and such in a tomato-based sauce.

I like them both...tonight is the tomato-based version

So...you don't care for milanesa?

I love bistek milanesa, but it's NOT the same as country-fried steak. (or chicken-fried steak) Those NEED good country gravy, both over the meat as well as over the hash-browned or mashed potatos. (breakfast or dinner)

Milanesa is one of the metrics by which I judge a Mexican restaurant. If they don't offer it, or make it poorly...I don't go back. It's one of my favorite Mexican dishes. Salma Hayak is another of my favorite Mexican dishes...:p
