Lately I've been tired of cooking. Also lately spending a lot of time chopping firewood and building/tending the fire. So I've planned to make something easy/quick:
1. Hamburger patties with a blue cheese sauce (melt fresh blue cheese with some butter and a dash of cream).
2. Sauteed broccoli or green beans with a little chopped garlic.
I had an avocado that wasn't nearly ripe enough, a pack of beef jerky, and some cereal. I'm tired, and didn't feel like cooking. The avocado was especially disappointing. They're taking forever to ripen up.
Fiance fried like a pound of chorizo. She then mixed it up with 2 jars of "Newman's Own" Stockaroni sauce.
She made 2 pounds of spaghetti noodles with it, and we had some pea pods and garlic bread with it.
This was dinner yesterday. It will be dinner today since it's quite a bit of food.
Also, it's uber delicious. The Chorizo really goes awesomely well with the pasta, much better than any italian sausage or meatballs I'd ever had IMO.
Spinach + garlic stuffed Ravoli, Tomato sauce with Home cooked mushrooms, red onion, + bell pepper, Broccoli with Balsamic vinegar and fresh ginger. Fresh Grapefruit for dessert. I wish I had someone to cook for me!
When I had my dog I found that Denison's canned chili was just about the only thing he wouldn't eat. To be honest, it was pretty disgusting and I didn't eat it either.
Chicken breast with steamed Tuscan Kale dressed in lemon juice and EEO with brown rice jazzed up with toasted garlic, jalapeno and cilantro and chick peas.
I've got beef stew cooking up in the slow cooker at home. curious to see how it turns out since it wasn't initially a slow cooker recipe... gotta stop by a bakery on my lunch break to pick up some bread to have with it tonight.
