currently my tbred is at 2.2(11x200fsb), mem at ddr333 2.5-3-3-11 on my abit NF7 2.0 board. i tried running my mem at ddr400 with cas at 2.5 but no go even with more voltage. im pretty sure it could do ddr400 but at cas at 3. i also have the option of running my tbred at 2.25(13.5x166fsb), mem at ddr333 so its in sync with the fsb. so which will be faster

1)tbred at 2.2(11x200fsb) mem runing async at ddr333 2.5-3-3-11.
2)tbred at 2.2(11x200fsb) mem runing insync at ddr400 3-3-3-11
3)tbred at 2.25(13.5x166fsb) mem running insync at ddr333 2.5-3-3-11

all 3 options are running dual channel.

there are very few things that'll find a big difference between 50mhz or 2.5 vs 3 cl
I would be comparing 13.5x166 2-2-2-6 or 2-3-2-6 and 11x200 1:1 with whatever timings you have to use

Why not find out for yourself? No one knows your system better than you. Find your favorite game and monitor the FPS, or run benchmarks of your most used program with each setting, and you tell us which one is faster. Sure, there are theoretical differences with each one, but how they come into play in your specific application will be different. There's only one way to find out for sure :)
