Yardwork - reseeding the lawn after a 10' trench was dug around the house and filled with crushed stone, in an effort to keep water out of the basement. It rained 7" in 48hrs back in June, water came in through the floor, the walls, and the sump (we do have a pump, but it was overwhelmed), and we finally figured that that was enough. It was only like.....oh, I don't know, the 5th or 6th time the cellar flooded since we bought the house. You know, no big hurry. :roll:
Yard's a mess now, since the huge backhoe the landscapers used tore up the lawn, and of course, the digging of the trench itself brought up lousy, rocky fill to the surface. So now the yard needs to be raked to get rid of stones, and reseeded. Yay.

I've got a ninja 250, btw...i'm gonna ride over to the coast to see some friends tomorrow, come back and watch the truck pulls at the fair tomorrow night....and go watch some AFM motorcycle racing at Infineon on Sunday

Wellll.... My friend wants me to fix her laptop.. So I get it here, and it has the most crap Ive ever seen... PLUS, it turns itself off after a few minutes for overheating... So I finally got the gunk off the heatsink and able to boot into windows (safe mode only though) and starting to copy stuff to a usb drive... This weekend? reinstall windows and ******. Oh boy the fun I will be having. (SarcasM)

Gonna spend the weekend with all the people who are gettin ready to take off back to school and whatever the hell else they take off to go do. It's gonna suck, I'm not gonna see one of my close friends now for a good 5 months and after that probably never again in Cali if I do see him in 5 months.

As for tonight, hookah is the plan, but don't really care.

Cool cool! My mom grew up across the mountain in Halfway, so I have visited that area quite a bit

I have a mobile x-ray van to build today, but it is going to be too warm for me here Sunday.
We'll head to Yakima and the sister's swimming pool.

Tomorrow, we're going to Madison to get some more of our crap packed up (including kitchen stuff and doom darkening curtains) that we left there for our housemates to use during the summer while we were back in Milwaukee.
