I'm gonna go with Algebra.

I comped out of Algebra in some admissions tests I took, and did take stats. It sucked.

College algebra?

Algebra is an easy subject. I had a 5 on Calc BC, and I found College Statistics quite tough.

College statistics? Advanced statistics can be very tough. For me calculus was easier than stats.

Calculus is easier then stats? I have options next year for my senior year, Stats AP, Calculus or college Algebra.

I doubt it's even an option for you. You can't take Calculus without having taken Algebra.

It goes, Algebra1, Geometry, Algebra2, Precalculus, Calculus1-3, Linear Algebra...

AP statistics is not very hard. I'm talking about advanced college statistics. I took AP statistics and got a 4 and AP Calc BC and also got a 4. I guess it really depends on you. Some people suck at calculus and are very good at stats and vice versa.

I am just finishing up Calc4, so i dont know that my opinion is the best, but I would say algebra. However, I would expect neither to give anyone much trouble.

Really depends on the material covered in algebra, and the teacher teaching it. I had a bitch of a time in college algebra because I had an old hag for a teacher that required us to put down ever single effin step of the problem down on the paper. If we didn't do a step, we got docked points even if we had the right answer.

I still skipped some of the steps because I did things a different way than she did and could do it in half as many steps. She also made us a ton of annoying busy work as well for homework and would throw pop quizes at us based upon answers of the home work.

Bleh.

Stat's was more difficult material, but not as annoying. Oh, and it was actually stuff that I would use at some point later in life too, so that helped.

depends on the teacher, but mostly algebra...
statistics is all about probability, which is not the easiest thing out there...

I would say it depends on the level of the stats class ...
i took a 200 level stat class in college ... and it was very easy. It was one of those minimal thought, never show up , get an A classes.
I took a 300 level stat class the next symester ... the first month or so was very easy, than they started basing everything off of calculus and diff EQ ... It was a pretty difficult class

As far as college algebra ... The only Algebra I taak there was Linear Algebra, and that was after Calculus 3. I just didn't get the class, perhaps because I never studied or did homework, or perhaps because I didn't care. In any case ... I failed that class big time.

I would say .. both algebra and stat can range from very easy to very hard. It just depends on the level of the course and who is teaching it.

algebra

...I rather take linear algebra than any stats class. I barely survived my stats 427 class (c- == w00t), ugh only one more stats to go

AP Statistics was easy as sh!t. I only went to clas twice a week, didn't do any homework, and got a 4 on the AP test.

Intro college statistics is easy as hell. I went to class 4 times the entire quarter. The first day of class to pick up syllabus. Twice for midterms and once for final. I end up with total points in the top 5% and this guy give out A+'s although it's still a 4.0, but it's a bragging right kinda thing.
