What's considered high mileage for a sport bike?

It is pretty easy to find older bikes with relatively few miles on them in this country. People generally use motorcycles as pleasure vehicles here in the states.

It is. The other thing about bikes in America... is they are not typically primary transportation for most, and most Americans tend to be fair-weather motorcyclists. If you live in the northern parts of America, that limits you to about 6 months of ride time, down south, maybe 9 or so, unless you are hard-core.

In my younger days I rode no matter what... I didn't give a shit. Nowadays, I'm not so bold.

I remember riding back to Colorado from Ohio... in December. My fingers were so cold (because of the driving snow, probably...) I had to stop at a convenience store and get 2 plastic bags, put those on my hands, and then put my gloves on to try to keep some heat in my fingers.
