What's considered a good typing speed?

since switching from Dvorak back to qwerty a couple of years ago ... i'm still around 10-15wpm slower than 2009 :(

The spell check/autocorrect function of Word has caused my CPU fan to rev up at times, as it tries to keep up.

When it comes to typing speed, 55 to 90 words per minute is considered good, but if you are preparing for competitions, 70 words per minute more is good. Generally, I practice typing by using online typing test that will allow me to do a 1-minute test, a 3-minute test, and a 5-minute test.

Hmm... a good typing speed is when you can complete the document started on July 27, 2009 by July 7, 2021.
