Whats causing this?

The screen shot is large. Look at the grey dots at the top.. I get this in several D3D games.

Ive tried adjusting bios settings, different video drivers, different monitor drivers.

The only thing that works is to decrease video hardware acceleration by 1 notch.

Ive also tried cooling .

Can someone tell me what might be causing this and how to fix it.

Are you overclocking? What type of Card and OS? Have you checked your Mobo makers website and the Card makers website?

Lots o questions no answers just yet. Can you give more information.

Not overclocking
Using an asus a7v133
Using a ti500
using the latest bios from asus
using the latest drivers from nvidia

have checked with both sites
not info.

Have sent tech support a question at visiontek (maker of the card)
still waiting.

Try underclocking or using different drivers. Your video ram may be the culprit, looks like artifacts usually associated with oc/ing
See if they go away with underclocking, you may need a new fan on that puppy.
