I've been benchmarking my system and it seems to be slower than comparable systems. Though I initially thought it was my video card, I'm convinced now that it's either the CPU or memory. Both seem to be rather slow compared to other systems when using PCMark2002 as a benchmark.
Note that memory performance takes a huge dive at 384KB and larger yet seems to be on par with the compared system at smaller memory chunks. I've run this benchmark a few times and the results seem to be fairly consistent too.
