What's better to clock higher - RAM or CPU?

Seems I can't have it all. My RAM doesn't go up to 150, but it goes up to 140 (Crucial CAS2). So these seem to be my max choices between RAM and bus speed on my motherboard/CPU combo (AOpen MX3S-T/Tualatin 512K 1266Mhz) while still keeping everything stable:

- RAM @ 140, System Bus @ 140, PCI @ 35, CPU at 1330
- RAM @ 120, System Bus @ 160, PCI @ 40, CPU at 1520

Which one will be faster? What utilities can I use to test it?

i'd go with 140/140. you avoid the latency penalties when running the memory asynchronously from the FSB. you'll get a 16% increase in memory throughput and you'll keep your PCI and AGP closer to spec

you can use sisoft sandra 2002 to test memory throughput and you can use Quake 3 or some game that you can run demos and record the FPS to test real world performance gains
