What's better, higher bus or high total Mhz?

I got my mobile 2600+ to 2580Mhz now with bus at 215mhz. I tried taking it to 220Mhz, but it kept rebooting on benchmarks.

Should I get the bus speed highest THEN use the multiplier or should I just shoot for highest total Mhz and keep bus low?
