What's better: Ceramic space heater or oil filled radiator heater?

Just looking for something to keep the den warmer in the evening and a bedroom warmer at night. I initially wanted a ceramic space heater but I keep seeing a lot of portable oil-filled radiators everywhere. Just curious which type is more efficient at heating an area? Pros/cons?
 
Electric heating is 100% efficient so no differences there.

Technically they are both convection heaters however the oil filled radiator has a much lower watt density over given surface area and would be safer as no parts get to ignition temperature. The ceramic will produce a stream of warm air almost immediately so it's good for quick spot heating.

The radiator will take a while to chase the chill out of the room.
 
The oil filled ones ROCK when under a desk. My dad used them at his office in the winter and didn't use the furnace at all.
 
I used an oil filled one where I used to live and work... They are great! They don't make any noise other than a few pings when they are first heating up, and don't dry the air out like the ceramic heaters do. I would get stuffed up from the dry air when I used the ceramics...
