I just got a WinTV-PVR250 for my father. We've only tried the TV Tuner so far, but I'll let you know how the other features work when we get around to playing with it some more. I have read only positive things about the card, which is why I purchased. As well, the TV tuner output is quite nice; the only problem is I have no frame of reference to compare it to.

I know there is a large difference between TV Wonder and the AIW cards so you probably don't want to lump them together.

ATI and their AIW line have come a long way with MMC8.1...Hands down the hauppage wintv is better then the TV wonder but for the cost and performance an AIW 9600pro would be far better. The features that come with are te most complete. Tv tuner has become much better with soapbox feature. Capturing is easy and very good now again versus early days.

I know someone who has the wintv pvr and they like my AIW much better....I almost bough that one until by buddy told me his take on it....

Edit: I see we may have got off topic with total solutions like PVR boxes and not just TV tuners....TV tuner only I have heard better things about the leadtek. If you want total solutions with capturing, time shift (pause TV), PVR capabilities, multiple inputs video and audio for multiple types of capturing, etc....It is the AIW solution. Even AT in the review suggest no one makes a product this complete and better....
