Finding a great Socket A board with an ISA slot will be difficult at best.

I had plenty of P II's that were Socket 370's...Dual Celeron 366's overclocked to 635 with water cooling to be exact. Loved them things...I still haven't had a machine that ran as rock solid and smooth as that Anyways, the single option on ebay doesn't look bad, but I'd sooner go with the USB-to-ISA option first and get a motherboard designed for todays processors...Just my $.02 though.

What is the fastest processor I can run on the Iwill KK266? The documentation says up to 1.2ghz Durons but the BIOS seems to be able to go much higher. Thanks

Athlon XP 2100+ most likely. Possibly higher using unsupported bus speeds.

And don't expect just "any" 2100+ to work even if it does accept a 2100+. I bet it will only accept a Palomino and not a Tbred. It might be hard finding a processor that you would like to get that will work on that board.

Actually, if you "shop" on eBay, you can find almost any XP you can think of, at an assortment of prices. Many of the sellers actually know what a Palomino is compared to a Thoroughbred A, B, or Barton.

Guys, guys... there's lots of these boards on ebay. Check the 'search title and decription' box. Not everybody advertises their ISA slots in the title.

I wrote Iwill an email and they said "the max speed is xp 1900+, but you should press reset when you boot up." Apparently after power up, the system will not post, you have to press reset button to boot up.
