whats best buy's return policy on games?

just bought bf 1942 and it's horrible. can i atleast exchange it?!

Since it's opened, only for the same title, what you do after that is up to you

Nope. You can only exchange for that same game. Thats why you should always buy games from EB. They let you do a 1-time return for store credit or another game. BB sucks big ones.

We've got Best Buy, Circuit City, Electronics Boutique, Gamestop, Toys R Us, KB Toys and another Gamestop, within blocks of eash other. Not to mention FYE and Saturday Matinee if you get really desperate...

you can only return it if its defective, or you can just claim "it's defective", but even if they do an exchange, they will acutally open the exchanged new pacakage so you cant return it as a new copy to get your money back.

pffft... thats nothing against my measly p3... actually that game does make systems crawl to its knees... but i think he just doesn't like it period.

CompUSA used to have a really liberal game exchange policy. They gave you store credit for another title if you didn't like it. I think that was when most people didn't have burners yet...

You can probably wait until the day after Christmas to exchange it. They usually don't give a crap and will let you exchange it for whatever you want.

They are more liberal after Xmas with their returns.
