whats are the fastest "passive cooled" ati and nvidia cards?

does anyone know which are the fastest cards from both ati and nvidia that come from the manufacturer passivly cooled?

im thinking of upgrading my radeon 9600 (which is passivly cooled)

i just want something fairly fast and still quiet.

That, and the passively cooled X800XL are both quite good. And you can always install a custom silent solution on any video card (which voids your warranty by the way).

Boonesmi, the Gigabyte X800XL is the fastest fanless card out there, but to my knowledge it is only PCI-E. If you want to stick with AGP, Gigabyte may have a fanless 6600GT.

ATi X800 XL by Gigabyte. I have one and I love it.

Also by Gigabyte is a 6600 GT but I'm not sure if this the fastest possible nVidia card.

what temps are within spec for a 6800 core?

seems unlikely a big manufacturer like gigabyte would release a card that would overheat.

The core can get to 120C without damage. High temps are fine.

bbonesmi, from what i understand that Gigabyte passive "6800gt" is not actually A Geforce 6800gt. It's a crippled version that is slower not just because of less memory, but also because it has LESS pipelines if I remember correctly.
