Nada....na-da-dammed thing.

I never tip for take-out food. I don't tip an McDonald's other than to toss some change into the Ronald McDonald House box...why should I tip in a restaurant where I get about the same amount of service?

hmmm the girl (kinda cute) was looking at me with these puppy dog eyes and circled the tip line, and I was like oh shit. I guess I'm supposed to tip...so I ended up giving her $6. Not quite full tip, but something. I figured hmm I tip bartenders a shit load, why not her

Depends.

I tip decent at my favorite take out pizza place. The pizza is always ready when I get there, and I get my pizza off to the side instead of waiting in line (which can be out the door). So there are benefits.

If its just a random place probably nothing.

It depends, if it's a place I like and I plan on using again I throw a few bucks in the tip jar. There's a Chinese place nearby that I alternate doing take out on the way home or calling for delivery. They know I tip every time so for take out I usually find an extra appetizer or two in with my food and the delivery charge has stopped showing up when they deliver to my house.

There's a Chinese place near me... i order once a month from there... never tip... and the owner always throws in extra food... extra eggrolls, extra cheesy wontons... extra soup... even soda's... and gives me my order before the other orders.

It has nothing to do with tipping... it has to do with being a regular customer.

For my wife and I we're usually around $15 - 20 and I'll toss in $2 - 3.

Maybe, but I like they're food, their prices are reasonable and their service is good. I have no problem giving them a few extra bucks to let them know I think they're treating me well. Isn't that what a tip is for anyways?
