Long story short, the can of WD-40 in my toolbox somehow leaked and now my wrenches and screwdrivers are all greasy. Is there something I can fill a basin with and then soak everything in to remove the grease?

i dont know,thats a good question.If you find out let us know.I only used the stuff in a can from the autozone.Maybe home depot has some driveway degreaser or something
A word of caution: If you completely degrease your tools, they will rust.

Just give 'em a quick wash in Dawn or other dishwashing liquid OR use an SOS pad or the like and a quick wash.
Windex will also cut grease fast and quick.....spray on and wipe off (someitmes what I'll use to cut offf grease fast after pulling parts in the junkyard before opening the car up.....hate to put grease all over the car's doors.)
Shampoo will also cut grease (takes the oils out of your hair which are nothing more than natural greases......a cheapie brand is best and very cheap.......some of what I use after working on the car.)

I guess it depends on the tool. Maybe I just have more iron/steel tools than most or something.

Why would you buy tools that aren't stainless?
I mean, I'm sure they exist.... but, yeah. Not all tools are made out of stainless steel, obviously. I have plenty of screwdrivers and pliars that will rust. I also have plenty that are plated and won't.
Guess you could do it on a case by case basis.. wash all the plated/stainless stuff, and just wipe off the steel items.

Honestly, after my tools get wet or whatever, I usually spray them down with WD-40 to help them stay nice and pretty.

Youre not going to believe this but beer actually works.I reccomend a 12 pack.The grease will still be on the tools,but you'll be to wasted to care.

Actually, I have a bit of tools........my hand tools are a mix of SnapOn, Mac, and Craftsman. While they are all steel, and none are stainelss despite earlier claims that SnapOn are stainless, they are all chrome-plated. They are plated to prevent rust, exactly what you are saying yours do when exposed to moisture. Guess you should quit buying those cheapie non-plated tools......
Honestly, though, I've rarely seen non-plated tools (ie. wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, etc.), and I find that allowing my hand tools to be greasy makes them easier to loose your grip on them. Always clean grease off my tools and have yet to encounter any rust problem. Guess that's good because Debbie, the wife, used some of the screwdrivers out of my "junkyard" toolset a couple of days ago and left the toolbox unlatched.......it rained and the bottom filled with water.
Some tools did rust a bit.......those that were unplated.......very cheapie adjustable wrench that I keep for its pry-bar ability and the shaft of a gasket scraper. None of the "real" wrenches, sockets, etc. showed any signs of any rusting anywhere.
