I must protest the audi TT chick car thing. True not the most powerful or the fastest but still a pretty car. Now the convertable is kinda chicky, I cant deny that though.

As soon as you buy your "unique" new car, you'll notice just how many others there are out there.

Volvo S60R.

$39,000
18/24 mileage with the manual
Should be reliable
Isn't a convertible

Has the added bonus of being nearly invisible to law enforcement personnel.

Save your money for another year then get one of these.

I was tempted to get one thinking they'd be 50k max... then I found out that they were going to be more like 70k. I was sad :(. I don't know how well Nissan will do pricing it that high... the original Skylines GT-Rs were more around the 40k mark.

Get a Civic Si Coupe for less than half your budget (197 hp, 6 speed manual, 23/32 mpg).

If you want more gas mileage and less horsepower, settle for a Civic Ex Coupe (32/39 mpg).

Not many around (yet)...

You're not going to find UNIQUE... you might find unusual choices.

You want a 'hot' ride, wait for the '08 Lexus IS-F, which should run about $50,000.

Golf R36 is coming out sometime soon. Somewhere between 280 and 300 bhp I think.

you wont find unique anywhere in that price range. 60k for an elise maseratti's astons, bents are all much more.
