Hey,
Last time i bought PC component online was like 6 months ago. Now, all the sites have this RMA...what is it? Whats the difference between sending deffective crap back, and getting replacememnt/money back? And why do people say it takes hella time to "request RMA"? God, now im kinda puzzled...

Return Merchandise Authorization.

An RMA is a number (an authorization), given to you by either the manufacturer or the place you purchased the item from, to return it to them for replacement/repair/refund.

The RMA number is their way of tracking the item. Who it's from, what the item is and what's wrong w/it.
