What's a reasonable card with DVI?

Are you looking for a DV card? DVI is a monitor connector for digital flat panels, and doesn't really have anything to do with video editing.

Which would you chose. I need image quality more than gaming speed. I don't necessary need dual display since I just bought a couple of g100 quads ($51 on egghead auction). Thanks.

If you're interesting in image quality, Radeon should be your choice. The prices are probably pretty similar. Dual display just happens to be a feature of the card, I don't think they make a card with just a DVI connector.

Here's a dumb question...will the v5500 pci for the Mac work on a PC? It's a great card, it's cheap, and it's got dvi.

Reportedly, you can flash the BIOS with a PC one. Even if that works, not sure it would make a difference, since the PC version doesn't have a DVI connector.
