u think that's 'offensive'. i'm browsing xbox games yesterday, and i see 'champioship manager 2003' for it. It's just a lame as soccer manager game, wher eu pick line up etc through a text screen, then u don't actually get to watch the match, u just see text of what is goin on (i think that happens, does on all the others). This pos game has been the same since it was first released on the playstation. just every year they update the stats, people buy it too, well here in england they do anyway :p

Which again proves my theory:

DRUNKEN EUROPEAN FOOTBALL (soccer) FANS WILL BUY ANYTHING!!!

BTW: My "pre-1982 graphics" crack was referring to Namco Museum, not Ty. Ty is actually a beautiful game.

I just got up but... when I read the thread title, I managed to miss the "Xbox game for a" part of it.

I've not been in the gaming industry for a while (I used to work for EB, but quite just after X-box & gamecube came out) but I suggest that you go to a rental place and try out some games that the MrsSkoorbs may be interested in.

Cheers,

True dat.
OXM demo discs are another good option, without incurring a ton of rental fees.

Yup, that's what we often do but it adds up when they are all too hard for me! :p

No seriously, we are going to go and see what we can rent this afternoon. Skoorb has been playing HALO all freaking morning and it is MY turn!

Do you have any MicroPlay's down there? I used to work for them also & they used to have a thing were you rent a game and you could come back as many time during the rental period & exchange it for a different game for $1.

Sorry MrsSkoorbs ........... I just found out Micro Play is only in Canada now. When I used to work for them they were franchised in the US and I remember they had stores in LA, NY etc......... but I guess they pulled back.

Toe Jam & Earl rocks you!

It's not very hard, I'm sure it has 2 player co-op action (TJ&E did, and I believe 2 did)

IGN gave it a mixed review

And...from the TJ&E page on Xbox.com
Play solo or as a team ? seamless transitions between single and split-screen multiplayer action
Could be a winner.

ALSO: The current issue of OXM (Splinter Cell on cover) has a demo of TJ&E on the disc. Might be better to buy that issue instead of renting.

Get a GameCube and try Mario Party 4. Sonic may not be too bad either.

BTW, my sisters aren't much of a gamer but they loved the two Zeldas on N64. One of my sisters got very good at it and actually finished the game. My other sister got to the Water Temple.

i'm not a girl (i'm pretty sure at least) but i find wreckless to be pretty easy and enjoyable. basically you just run around plowing into stuff with your car, which is great fun. of course you can't just cruise around causing mayhem, which would be even more fun. hrrrrm.

Oh yeah. Try Luigi's Mansion for GC. It is not too difficult and the story is not too bad either, although it could get repetitive and boring after a while.
