after spilling coffee on my Compaq keyboard, and too much laziness to remove all the keys to clean it out...

can any of you guys recommend me a keyboard with the following options:
1. corded
2. soft, makes very little noise
3. when keys are pressed, don't need to travel a huge distance down. Basically I'm looking for one that can be typed on with as little effort as possible.
4. under $50

all suggestions will be greatly appreciated :)

They say the Logitech diNovo has a laptop like keyboard... But you wouldn't want to use an uber cheap keyboard like that, go for something classier.

Logitech Elite sounds right up your alley.

Just watch out for the incredibly stupid F-lock key. By default the function keys are multimedia keys.

Idiots.

Eh? I'll definitely look into the two logitech keyboards. I'm definitely not into the cheap feel of laptop keyboards. Even though the keys don't travel a huge distance, they still snap and feel really thin and cheap. Perhaps if one exists where the keys go smoothly down (like a sponge). The Typematrix keyboard seems a bit too weird for me =)

I like my Microsoft Internet keyboard (the plain one that can be found for ~$10 if you look).

Coolermaster makes a soft touch keyboard.

Zippo has a line of soft touch keyboards, but they're a bit pricey for what they are in my opinion.
