Pretty much any non-liqueur straight is manly...

But of alcohol drinks, I've found beer (with the occasional cigarette and good conversation) to be the best to take an edge off...

I'm sort of the opposite in that I don't care that much for beer. Actually that is a bit misleading. I love the stuff but....

For cigs and conversation I prefer a Grand Marnier or Gin and tonic, For taking the edge off its tequila or mezcal......
