"highly rated" ?

Most of the shit posted here is like some new one hit wonder types.

First, how do you define highly rated? I am not aware of song reviews so much as album reviews ... and even then, album reviews are far more subjective than objective.

I would say I dislike country songs that are high rated, because they are country. (if there is such a thing as a "highly rated" country song)
I also would say that I dislike all pop songs, because they are pop. (if any are considered "highly rated")

Also, Bob Marley is awesome. He's one of my favorite Jamaican musicians, though I personally find the work of King Tubby to be more interesting.

People don't like Bob Marley?

I'm going with songs that rank high on the billboard chart at one time or another or are on albums that have had success on the billboard chart...

As what the OP meant.

....

...The National Anthem. Well, not when it's sung correctly. But every singer that screeches that song, making it about themselves by displaying how long they can hold a high note, how many different notes they can hit in one word, etc...

Okay I change my vote to this...

Thanks Doc for helping me see the light.. I forgot how much this upsets me.

I'm going to go in a different direction for most hated song.

The National Anthem. Well, not when it's sung correctly. But every singer that screeches that song, making it about themselves by displaying how long they can hold a high note, how many different notes they can hit in one word, etc.. I say, for the half time show, we line up a couple of veterans who have fought for this country, march the singer out onto the 50 yard line, and execute him/her by firing squad.

So. Much. THIS.
