What's a good wiper blade brand?

I use Good Year slim wipers for the Lexus. Bosch normal wipers for Acura. And propitiatory wipers for the Jaguar(car is old, ya know?).

In general, with most car parts, I agree. The problem for me is that my car is model year 2001, and technology has come a long way since then. Specifically, the Valeo Ultimate blades that I linked above have 1500+ pressure points, which gives WAY better results than the OEM blades for my car (2001 Acura CL 3.2). If I had a car manufactured in the last 3-4 years, I'd probably go OEM all the way.

As far as longevity, if you live anywhere with real seasons, especially cold/wet winters, you're probably going to have to replace ANY blades at least every 2 years, maybe 3 if you get lucky with precipitation and you park indoors.

The two Valeo blades I linked above cost me about $30 every 2 years. For that price I'd replace them yearly if I had to since they work so well on my car.
Oh well. My first set of wiper blades lasted 6 years, I'm guessing.

I just get the cheapest of the ones without frames. As far as I'm concerned, none of the brands justify any premium over the others.

Haven't changed my wipers since the day I bought my car 6 years (going on 7 years) ago. Neither have I changed the tires.

Been using them for 27 years. Change about 1 time a year. Ice can be rough on them

I used Bosch on my 2006 Civic and 2007 Jetta and they both failed in the Winter snow - but were great in rain. Unfortunately, I didn't notice them ripping apart on my Jetta and ended up scratching the hell out of my windshield. It's one of the main reasons I decided to let the car go early. I couldn't stand looking out my windshield in sunny weather or when headlights hit it at night. :|

Personally, I like Anco ... I buy their Winter blades and run them year round. Walmarts has them at about $7 per blade. Big auto stores, like Autozone / Pepboys should also have them.
