how much do u wante to give for downpayment? also if u have a good raiting see if bank will give u a loan as a first time buyer.

My bank (which I also work for) has 0% down programs, 5% down and the traditional 20% down.

I think we're gonna have to do the 0% down and re-fi in a few years when we have more equity and paid down the balance a little.
Buying a house then?

I would like to, still need to find a copy of my credit report which was mailed to me, schedule a time with the mortgage guy and he'll either smile or laugh at me.

what is credit report score?

Credit Report with Credit Score for $12.95

no reason to pay, by law u can get a free cop of your credit report from cc once a year.

I know but I paid because I wanted to see my credit report online instantly AND see my credit score as well.

$12.95 isn't that much

At the cost of your personal dignity and any chance of getting laid during those years. ;)

If you are making good money then you should be able to save up without the second job. Have you considered reducing your expenses?

I was thinking about a second job as well. Might work for a restaurant that pays good tips? I couldn't think of any right now. :(

I was just going to suggest that. If you work the right area, and you're reasonably quick (quick enough to take at least 30 runs a night), smart, witty, and don't look like a slob, you should get at least $100 cash every Friday and Saturday night on top of your base pay, which is generally minimum wage.

If you want to tend bar, you've generally got to start small, as a bar-back. I'd go do that, but I can't take time to go backwards in income right now.
