What's A good stress test for OC'd RAM?

I know about memtest, but are there any others? I have 2gb of RAM and for some reason when I run memtest on my system, it only lets each instance of the program use 512ish mb of RAM. Is memtest the only program worth anything, or are there others?

They have all kind of junk imaginable for hardware testing.

Did you try memtest86 or memtest86+ ? Try the other one and see if it addresses all 2GB of memory.

There's also S&M, which is a good test for both memory and CPU.

memtest seems to be very popular among enthusiast... they have a DOS version (prevent corruption in windows if you have faulty memory at high speed)

I've downloaded the bootable image, and run through it once doing the all tests mode. Is that the best way to isolate ram errors?

the harddest test, and one that will find flaky ram (amongst other things) is prime95 in-place large FFT torture test.

the toughest test from memtest seems to be 6. 5 is good too. i'd use 5 to find the max speed, as it finishes much faster, then back off from there using 6.
and tests should be run looped. oftimes memory will pass the first loop but then hang on the 2nd or 3rd.

My prefered strategy is to boot into memtest & run a full pass of all tests - this reduces the risk of corrupting windows as mentioned above. If there are no errors, I then load windows & run a Prime95 blend test overnight. Dont rely on memtest alone - I often found that memtest wouldn't find errors when Prime95 did.
