What's a good software for burning +700mb divx movie onto multiple cds?

I'm short of hard drive space and I can't burn movies that are over 700mb onto a cd. What software is good for breaking the avi clip in half? Thanks.

if you just want to store them (most do) just use winrar with the store command to archive them into 655meg chucks.

how much over 700MB are you? it may be worth your while to download VirtualDub and try cropping out the end credits. you may be able to get it well under 700MB.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping to have the movie on the cd but still playable. So, I thought if the movie was broken in half I could watch half the movie and then switch cds. The movies are usually 750meg or so. I wish I had 700 meg cds so I could clip the end credits as was suggested, but the cds I have are only 650meg. I was under the impression that virtual dub was to convert to vcd and only dealt with the sound, and a separate software was needed to actually convert the movie to mpeg. I don't want to do all this if I can avoid it.

divx is not mpg.... are you trying to put them on cd to play on dvd? if so, go to www.vcdhelp.com. If not, and you just need to play on the comp, vdub is fine. Just select direct stream copy for both audio and video in the menu's, and then you can select the start/end for the first half, select save segmented avi as... then go thru and do it for the 2nd half.

that's a whole other can of worms then, if you need to split vids to watch them then you will need to re-render them.
