what's a good slideshow making program

Thought I would do something special for my parents this christmas so i've decided to take old pictures of
me and brother and make a digital slideshow with music and stuff. What's a good program for this, it has to have the ability to burn to a DVD or VCD.

My brother and I did that for our father's 50th - we used Memories On TV. You select the pictures, how to transition, panning / zooming effects, and put it to a music playlist. Burns nice VCDs that are playable on any DVD player, complete with Menus. You can use a trial version, and then see if it fits your needs.
