Geocities is your best bet. it's free and it's simple.

You could have that pic up and go to go within a few minutes.
 
I personally prefer photopoint.

I don't think there's a space limit there. They automatically resize and make thumbs or accomodate the modem users. It will also store your original size. Great site to save all kinds of pictures...
