Whats a good recommended 56k Modem?

I have a slow Motorola SM56 modem....I want to get a better one. Some reccomend US Robotics and some say 3Com. They used to be the same, but i am confused.
What should i get?, not too expensive.

Be suren to get a hardware modem.
USR Sportster is good.

I have a SwannSmart SM56 modem with the Motorola chipset. It is ok for general surfing but does lag behind if you are playing internet games. Have you got the 83.17 version drivers?
