I know some people on here have to like RC cars. So what are some good sites, with some good reviews and a good forum to lurk at. I want to get one but don't want to get some POS RC car to start. I've been checking out some of the RC mags but I don't know enough to filter through the BS. :)

You looking to get into electric or nitro?

I was thinking Nitro just because it seems like it would be easier to run for awile without the batteries running out. But I don't really know enough yet to make a good decision. I want to do some research.

I'd suggest starting out with electric, unless you want to do a ready-to-run (RTR, or pre-built) model. Electrics are generally easier to get started with, plus you can always buy more batteries packs. Fuel can start getting expensive if you drive your car/truck a lot. It's not a big deal either way though, there have been a lot of improvements in nitro stuff in the past few years. Much easier to use nowadays. I used electrics because I was in a neighborhood that wouldn't have appreciated the wonderful sound of a .15 engine cruising around ;)
