Whats a good program to capture an image on a dvd?

I need to capture some images off of a DVD and save em on my computer for a school project. Does anybody know whats a good program for this..preferabley freeware. Even better if it was for Mac, but if its not I can take Windows as well. Let me know! Thanks!

OS X has some kind of utility built into it, I can't remember the name. Go under Applications -> Utilities and it should be somewhere in there. It gives you the option of taking a screenshot of whatever window you choose. There are probably more powerful programs to do this but I dunno any.
