Do you mean that they freeze at certain frames? Long ago I would get some that would do that... could be patched with a small file called Divx Antifreeze 0.3 or something like that.
FYI, running a program such as this will cut bad frames out of the index, which means an entire scene could dissapear. But at least the video will run and there was really nothing you could do for the corrupt frames. If you find out that there were a real lot of corrupt frames, you will want to redownload or rerip the divx file.
