I finally opened my CPU and found that I have an ASUS p2-99 motherboard. It says it can support PIII 500+ mhz and celeron 233+mhz processors. Can anyone recomend a good processor that I can have installed into this motherboard. I'm thinking of spendig about 100.00 and don't know where to look or what will actually go in it. Also for gaming, I was wondering what is a good video card that I can update to. I currently have a Voodoo3 2000. LOL Thanks for the help!

Well, from what I could find on the Asus site it should support just about any Pentium 3 processor. You'd be best to e-mail Asus tech support and ask them whats the fastest Pentium 3 it will take. And it has an AGP slot which is a good thing. You might want to get a cheap Geforce2 MX-400, or maybe pay a bit more and get a GTS.
