What's a good PC golf game?

I have a Wii but I'm waiting to get Tiger woods 09 when it is used for cheap. in the meantime, I am rekindeling my interest in PC golf games.

I saw Links 2003 and tiger wood 08 for $9.99 might be good.

last game i played was frontpage sports GOLF and I LOVED the true-swing, not 3 click mouse

I have Woods 07 or 08 and I kind of like the mouse swing. It's difficult to use though if you don't have the right kind of mouse. I get bored of golf games pretty quick but with that mouse swing it kept me interested a little while longer.

The later EA Tiger Woods games suck.

The best is probably 04. Not the greatest graphics, but the gameplay is excellent and they have a buttload of courses.

I went from 04 to 08 and prefer 08. Might as well make that graphics card work for its keep.

OP - there's virtually no other golf games out there.
