any other places that offer the same prices as monoprice? I need a 20-25 ft rca male to 3.5mm male cable. monoprice has them for under $5 but they are on backorder.
the cheapest i have found for anything similar is like $18.

Make sure nobody finds the packaging. You could do a combo of a 3.5mm cable and a short 3.5mm to stereo RCA adapter or a 3.5mm to stereo adapter and an RCA cable. (You'll have to be careful about the genders in these cases)

I didn't check to see if monoprice had a combo like that in stock though.

does adding in all those cables, adapters, extensions, etc degrade the quality?

This is for hooking up from the TV out of your TV to your new headphone amp, correct?

correct. i just ordered the amp today so i need to get the cables to use it.

Going through another adapter shouldn't be a big deal.

So you want a 25' cable going from the TV to the amp and then the headphone's cable plugged into the amp?

If you wanted to put the amp by the TV (using a 6' RCA to 3.5mm) and just use an extension M/F 3.5mm cable, that would be another option.

Go to best buy and get a good set of monster cables. You spent that much on your TV and other equipment, you don't want to skimp out on the cables!

Make sure you get the extended warranty to protect your investment.

Agreed. Monster Cables are bar-none the best your money can buy.

No question about it.
It's already scientifically proven that Monster Cable's gold plated, diamond encrusted cables conduct electricity better than the cheap cables being sold by monoprice and many other places.

Penny wise, pound foolish.

you guys are joking right?

true, but i wanted to keep the amp near me so i didn't have to get up to turn it on/off. yeah, i'm lazy.

No. Every electronic device in my home is connected with monster cables. I estimate over $800 worth of cables. I spare no expense to enjoy the highest quality entertainment.

Don't even joke about it, a googler might not realize it and ignorantly pad monster's pitiful pockets. ;)
