Wouldn't it depend on the cut of beef, or the size of the alternator?
 
Wait, I thought if a=b and b=c, then a=c. So if 10lbs alternator is bulky and 10lbs alternator weighs the same as 10lbs beef, why isn't 10lbs beef bulk?

Clearly the weight limit for bulk beef jerky is lower than the weight limit for bulk beef.
