I'm confused, is 10lbs of beef bulk or not?

only if it's alternator sized.

Are we talking low output Alternators or High Output Alternators, like 250amp?? Makes a difference when it comes to "bulkness" scale.

The jury is still out on that one i'm afraid 😉

I get more than 10lbs of beef when I go to Price Costco for pretty much any type of cut. Great meat, cheap, what more could you want?

Would you consider that a bulk purchase or is that just a weeks supply?

this is the first I've seen of this thread. and while it is hilarious it doesn't really answer my question on whether a cube of beef the size of an alternator is bulk or not. perhaps i should ask a local farmer?

Perhaps your friendly local mechanic would be more qualified to tell you? 😕

On a side note...why is this still being bumped? I'm laughing that the thread is bumped more than the content , now. 😀

When I do a BBQ, I go by 1KG of meat per person. Veggies are extra. So 10lb is nothing.

I wonder if the OP ever got his 10lbs of beef, and more importantly, whether it was alternator sized?

I think we can all agree on one thing however, that 10lbs is not bulk...

10 kgs on teh otherhand, i'd argue, is borderline bulk...

10Kg is ~22lbs. IIRC, bulk is officially 25lbs and over. Can anyone correct me?

WTF was this brought back to life. BTW what shape is the bulk beef?

Alternator shaped of course 😉

I thought he wanted battery sized bulk beef. It is a trick question though because low output 40amp alternators are smaller but high ouput 290amp alternators can be larger than a battery.

This leads to a difficult question though, why is the size/shape important when you want "10 pounds of bulk beef"? Most bulk beef is the same density, so the size/shape would alter the weight and thus be more than 10 pounds, which then might actually make it "bulk."

I dont understand this fascination with alternator sized bulk beef 😕

because I mean...10lbs is just not bulk! Alternator sized or not! But maybe I'm wrong.

A radiator or transmission would be bulk. IMHO.

It would not.
